Dear Friends Shalom,
IDF Widows and Orphans Organization invites you to embrace IDF orphans - sponsor your camper at the 2014 Hanukkah camp!
IDF Widows & Orphans Organization (IDFWO) has, for over twenty years, been facilitating the needs of women and children who lost their dearest ones for our Israel. Today, as the official organization with the mandate from the Israeli Government, we work with over 8,000 widows and orphans of Israel’s fallen heroes and provide them with a protective, therapeutic network through social and voluntary activities, as well as on-going representation before relevant authorities in Israel. IDFWO is proud and honored to run various dynamic projects for our children, as, amongst others, we purchase school supplies for 1st graders, take the orphans abroad for a summer camp experience, celebrate Hanukkah, Passover and Sukkot by taking the teens to camps all over Israel, hold an unforgettable celebration for them on their Bar/Bat Mitzvah's at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, provide scholarships for university students and reach out to newlyweds with presents on their wedding days. |
I would like to use this opportunity and ask you to sponsor a camper or as many of them as possible at the upcoming Hanukah camp to take place at the Dead Sea from Dec.21-24
The cost for each camper is $500, and we are looking to send over 130 children to the amazing camp, including boys and girls who have lost a father just this past summer during the “Operation Protective Edge” in the Gaza Strip. |
