I watched the game of
soccer between Kuwait , and Oman where Kuwait lost 5 to 0-
The best seen I saw when a Kuwaiti spectator, probably, he was 16, or 17 years old was inhaling a
fume of
his cigarette, puffing, and fuffing , while the Camera on him.
After Kuwait lost 3 to 0 a Sunni goal keeper, he was
substituted for a Shiite Goal keeper with stunning demonstration by the Sunni
Kuwaiti goal keeper that he was injured . Surprisingly one of the best wing player, but
he is a Shiite , who happened to be sitting on the bench for almost a year, suddenly was called by the Coach to play after
Kuwait was defeated.
I remember , a teen , probably he was 9 years old , said to
me I am not going to Al-Arabi –Club (Al-Arabi club used to be a club that joined mostly by players from the
Shiites , and other Kuwaiti liberals), because “the coach never let me to play",
he was tired of being on the bench . Tall for his age, he loves Gymnastics, he
loves to play soccer, but he was a member of the Shiite community in a nation
like any Arab or Muslim nations, or in any Asian nation including Russian had
to be only one color. All other colors
had to be subservient to only one color.
In Kuwait, and other GCC , the Shiites have been oppressed
by their own governments, and the western allies (particularly the dealers
of oil, Arm , Tabasco) , but in the end
they are more fortunate than their cousins across the border, who fell victim
to Ayatollahs, and Russia
