Amnesty International -Boko Haram

I am sure that you have not heard a single word from any Arab , or a Muslim leader condemning such heinous act .  Ironically ,  nor you heard any western leader is condemning Allah, or Muhammad, or Quran, in contrary , still western leaders are allowing  stolen petro-dollars to come in and build mosques, and Halal business in their own countries, and sending their high officials to Saudi Arabia and praising the Islamic fascism in the Arabian Peninsula  ,  and the western  support and security of the  tiny Gulf nation and the kingdom. Who created Boko Haram? of course our money, the stolen money   .

Take action for missing Nigerian schoolgirls

Over 200 schoolchildren are still missing, weeks after they were abducted from their school by armed militant group Boko Haram.

Add your voice to the global outcry to bring back the girls.

We know the Nigerian authorities had an opportunity to stop the kidnapping, but failed to act.

What’s worse is that this is not an isolated case. It has taken the outcry of people like you and others around the world for Nigerian authorities to take the situation seriously.

The authorities must now do all they can to secure the girls’ safe release and ensure nothing like this can happen again.

Stand with the parents of the abducted girls! take action nowSince 2009, Boko Haram has carried out a brutal campaign of bombings and gun attacks across central and northern Nigeria. Amnesty International estimates that 2,300 people have died as a result of armed conflict since 2010. Appallingly, they have consistently targeted children and teachers for their attacks.

Teachers have been shot dead as they taught their classes, and scores of children killed in their sleep. Many schools across north-east Nigeria have closed as a result of attacks or fear of being targeted.

All of Nigeria’s children have the right to an education and to be protected from violence.

The mothers of the abducted girls and their supporters have been marching on Nigeria's capital, calling on the government to take effective action. As a supporter of Amnesty International, you stand with them.

Now add your voice to theirs.

Yours in solidarity,

Grant Bayldon
Executive Director, Amnesty International NZ
