Shiite , Sunni Women MPs, and the teaching of Allah Akbar

At the moment I’m sitting in my ghostly cell. I am hearing an orator from the Sunni mosque in my neighborhood. The orator is  shouting  .  What he is shouting about?, scarcely , I could make out of the words.   All I hear noises, nothing but noises.

 Once I approached and listened to one of these mosques. “Zionists, and imperialists”,  and “Allah will send you "into the furnace of fire" , and  Allah and Muhammad will do this to you and that if you didn't believe in Allah Akbar. Verses are taken from the Bible, and we are told it is from Quran.

 Few seculars in Kuwait, and fewer of the  women campaigners   diligently  worked to see women in high position in Kuwait. One Shiite woman became a minster, and other Sunni women became an MP. Both hate each other.  All they praise Allah and Muhammad. “Allah and Muhammad are redline cannot be crossed”, and “heavy plenty should be imposed upon anyone who dare to name Allah and Muhammad in vain”.  These are the major issue that the two female are arguing about .  

The Sunni MP said recently, “Allah Akbar, I am from Hashemite family, Allah Akbar”.  I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.  If she was in USA, or in any  western democracy nations  she would’ve  been mocked on each and every station, but in the nation of Allah , Muhammad , and Emir , she had been praised even by seculars.  

 But this is Kuwait, and Kuwait is like the rest of the fascist Arab and Islamic nations. His or her family background is a winning ticket  to the highest governmental position, and not knowledge background.  Even the British ,and American Businessmen today when they wish to make business with a Kuwaiti businessman they check his family background, and not his business.  You need only one thing a family name to get a good deal in business , believe it or not even in soccer , family names, and not your play send you to the national team. One thing and only one thing, Like a CIA he is hired for one thing , if he can type,  he gets the job.

  At least  the  two women in the high spot  should’ve made a little effort to enhance the women’s right in Kuwait. Instead, they enhanced the religious of al-qadae in Kuwait. I say al-qadae , because it came from the Saudi Salafi Wahhabi.

 Only in Saudi Arabia shops close during the pray, but for the last thirty years al-qadae in Kuwait managed to close all the  stores in the neighborhood, banned liquors in Hotels, and airlines, and so forth, and so on, and imposed upon us their religious affiliation .  Ironically stores belong to al-qadae even in Friday is opened.

Sitting here alone , and typing in language that is not my language, hopefully the two women who are educated in the west , but lecturing us on Allah and Muhammad in Arabic , will wake up to the reality, and address the issues that are  concerning us, all of us who live in Kuwait, not just few.
